SUBMITTING YOUR PROGRAM AND/OR MUSIC AND ADVERTISING -

For Radio Programmer:
To assure quality, consistency and regular programming, it is a must that we have the following before we allow you to be on-the-air.
It is a must for us to know your LEGAL NAME, PERMANENT ADDRESS and CONTACT NUMBER.
a) You must submit an audition tape, program format and target audience projection.
You have to mail ( via POSTAL OFFICE) the following:
~ a copy of your sample program in cassette tape, diskette or CD (preferred)
~ a cover sheet with contact info and your website address (if there is any)
~ a bio plus picture and/or press kit
~ a copy of photo identification card and a copy of any mailed envelope addressed to
you.
b) We require a verifiable name, mailing address and phone number. Your driver's license is the best. When sending a copy of your DL, ERASE THE LICENSE NUMBER. We only need to identify your permanent residence.
c) If accepted, your broadcast materials must be in at least three (3) days before airtime. Since we are currently in AUTOMATED OPERATION, all materials must be in on or before Friday of each week. We insert new programs on SATURDAYS ONLY.
d) Be sure to specify if you intend to do a program on a daily, weekly or occasional basis.
e) All postings in www.thesalvogroup.com and programs airing in our Internet radio - WFGS strictly adhere to decency, civility and good taste. All others that do NOT are NOT accepted.
For Song or Music:
a) Your submission of CDs (or any music material) does not guarantee that said material will be aired. We reserve the right to have the last call.
b) If we decide to air your material, it is clear that you are giving us the non-exclusive right to play it on-the-air unless, otherwise agreed upon.
For Advertising:
To advertise On-Air
a) Our community training station is a very good advertising tool for your business or service. This is probably the only Internet radio that involves the community in its programming. Our broadcasters are individuals, students and professionals who want to make it good in communication or public speaking, or they simply want to build self-confidence and self-esteem through better oral communication skills.
b) Commercial script must be submitted to us for review, editing and approval. Take note of the scroll message at the bottom of our page. We will not allow words that are derogatory, offensive, indecent, etc.
To advertise in our website
a) Www.thesalvogroup.com is personally maintained by us, not by an outside company. Designs, content and updates to your banner ad are immediate.
b) We can do the copy of your ad. However, we prefer that you do it. To submit your own lay-out/picture, it should be in JPG or GIF format only. You can just e-mail the material to us.
c) We keep the content updated 7 days a week, keeping listeners/viewers clicking back every day and seeing your ad!
How do you advertise ?
There are a couple of ways to promote your business or service:
- Sponsorship
- Sponsor one of our pages and receive on-air commercial at WFGS Radio every half-an-hour FREE.
- Banner Ad
- Your ad will be strategically located in our site so visitors will have a better chance of seeing it. The banner ad also includes a click through to your Web site.
- Regular Box Ad
- As you see in any website
